Description

Vertical Dry Coolers, engineered for efficient heat rejection in water-cooled chillers, waterloop systems, and free cooling applications. With a cooling capacity of up to 350 kW under nominal conditions (ETG 35%, Tin 45 °C, Tout 40 °C, Tamb 35 °C), they are ideally suited for small to medium-sized commercial buildings and supermarket installations where space efficiency and reliable thermal performance are essential.

The vertical design offers significant benefits in environments with limited floor space, narrow service areas, or where vertical airflow is preferred. This configuration allows for compact placement, improved airflow in tight spaces, and easier maintenance access — making it especially useful for rooftops and confined plant rooms.

Each unit is built with smooth copper tubes, aluminum or copper fins, and EC fan motor technology to ensure high-efficiency performance and low energy consumption. The structure is supported by a galvanized steel frame with a durable powder-coated finish, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to harsh outdoor conditions.

To further increase system longevity and efficiency, all Refra vertical dry coolers are available with Aqua Aero anti-corrosion coating. This hydrophobic protective layer prevents contaminants from adhering to the coil surface, reduces airside fouling, and maintains optimal performance over time. The result is lower energy consumption, extended product life, and greater reliability in demanding environments.
