Evaporator coils (DX)

Description

High-efficiency evaporator coils designed for air cooling or dehumidification in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Commonly used in direct expansion (DX) setups, these OEM heat exchangers play a key role in absorbing heat from the surrounding air through refrigerant evaporation, converting it from liquid to gas. Standard units are available with heat exchange capacities of up to 50 kW for both low and medium temperatures.

Designed to operate under pressures of up to 80 bar or 120 bar they are ideal for CO2 systems or other high-pressure refrigerant systems. Refra evaporator coils are built using high quality smooth or inner-grooved copper tubes ranging from 7 mm to 12.7 mm in diameter. Each coil is equipped with aluminum or copper fins and housed in a durable aluminum, galvanized, or stainless steel frame.

For additional protection and long-term performance, all coils can be treated with Aqua Aero anti-corrosion coating, which reduces fouling and improves reliability in harsh operating conditions.
