Glacio air cooled chillers are built for large-scale industrial and commercial facilities with substantial cooling demands, offering capacities from 120 kW to 1400 kW. As the most powerful chiller in Refra product range, it delivers exceptional cooling output supported by a robust open-frame design that accommodates high-performance components.
These chillers can be configured with a built-in hydraulic module, heat recovery or free cooling via hybrid coils. For added reliability, two to four refrigeration circuits can be installed, ensuring the system remains operational with partial capacity even if one circuit is out of service.
Manufactured with plug-and-play design, they are quick to install and simple to operate, minimizing commissioning time and reducing installation costs. Each unit is equipped with EC fan motor technology, finned tube heat exchangers, and scroll, screw or reciprocating compressors. When a screw compressor is selected, an additional oil cooling system can be integrated to improve efficiency and lower associated operating costs.
The galvanized steel frame with a powder-coated finish provides durable protection for the internal components, while an optional insulation box can be added to reduce compressor noise for quieter operation.
