Description

V-Shape gas coolers, built for small to large transcritical CO2 systems, providing reliable heat rejection in applications with high refrigerant pressures. With heat rejection capacity up to 1 MW under nominal conditions (Tin 115 °C, Tout 33 °C, Tamb 35 °C, pressure 91.7 bar), they are well-suited for commercial and industrial systems requiring strong performance in a compact footprint. Compatible with natural refrigerants, Refra gas coolers ensure system efficiency and environmental compliance.

The V-Shaped coil design optimizes heat exchange by increasing surface area and airflow efficiency, all within a compact footprint. This design is ideal for installations where both high capacity and limited space must be balanced. Each unit is built with 7.94 × 0.54 mm inner-grooved copper tubes, aluminum or copper fins, and high-efficiency EC fan motors to deliver consistent performance under high-pressure CO2 conditions. The galvanized steel frame, finished with a durable powder coating, ensures long-lasting structural integrity in demanding outdoor environments.

For additional protection and performance enhancement, Refra gas coolers can be coated with Aqua Aero anti-corrosion coating. This hydrophobic layer prevents corrosive particles from damaging coil surfaces, reduces airside fouling, and helps maintain energy efficiency over time — extending the unit’s service life and reliability in harsh environments.
